May I take this opportunity to welcome you to Ancaster Church of England Primary School. We are very proud of our wonderful school and want every child to enjoy their time with us. We strive to create the best possible learning opportunities and ensure each pupil has the chance to reach their full potential and ‘Be the best they can be!'

As a small school we can offer a bespoke learning experience which allows for all children's progress and well-being to be carefully monitored by our staff, who are an incredibly hard-working team, committed to giving children the best learning opportunities which cater to their personal needs.

In our most recent Section 48 Church School inspection (October 2015), the school achieved an OUSTANDING judgement grade-we are absolutely thrilled and delighted with this outcome-click here to read this inspection report. Our most recent OFSTED inspection was in January 2013 and we were delighted to be judged to be as a GOOD school in all areas of the inspection. We were commended for the hard work and efforts that had been put in place by all stakeholders since the previous inspection and were also recognised for the sharp rise in our end of year attainment data and the good and outstanding progress of the pupils in school. Click here to read the latest OFSTED report. We have built a good reputation in the village and surrounding areas and most importantly our children love coming to school and our parents are happy. In addition to this, the school is now expanding. We have been approached by an unprecedented number of parents wishing to gain a place for their child and with the current structure of the school, where we are full, we have had to turn these children away. Now, due to the use of Section 106 funding, the school is able to increase the number on roll and we are having 2 classrooms built to help cater for the demand in local places. We are thrilled with this development as our school is a wonderful, thriving place which is continuing to flourish. Keep up to date with this information here and within school newsletters.

This website aims to answer the questions you may have about how our school is organised and to help you understand more about Ancaster Church of England Primary School.

We would love you to come and visit us and see our school in action. We have brilliant children, wonderful staff and a fabulous, stimulating environment. Any of the staff would be pleased to answer any questions you may have and the children would be delighted to show you around.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Sam Eden
