Class England
PE
Our PE sessions will be on a Monday morning, so please ensure your child has their PE kit in school. Some PE lessons will take place outside and it can be cold, so ensure you provide tracksuit trousers/ sweatshirts or similar, along with appropriate footwear. If your child is unable to take part in a PE activity, please speak to us or send a note into school. PE kits will be kept in school for the duration of the term and sent home to be washed over half term.
Reading
We encourage children to reread their books to develop fluency and to support inference and understanding. Remember to use the questions at the back of the reading books to quiz your child and test their understanding of what they have read!
Welcome to Class England!
Welcome to Class England! We are a group of 27 wonderful children who are excited to learn and ready to grow! In Class England, our teacher is Mrs Dickinson and the wonderful Mrs Duggan will be working with us every day too. Miss Heslam will also be teaching the children each Friday afternoon whilst Mrs Dickinson plans for the exciting learning that takes place in class.
We love to be outside, whatever the weather, so please make sure your child brings suitable clothing such as coats, waterproofs and wellies which can be stored in your child's locker.
If you would like to speak to a member of the team, please do catch us in the morning or at the end of the day to pass on any messages, alternatively you can write in your childs reading record, post on Tapestry or contact the school office and we will help you the best we can!
In Class England we love to read! Please help your child to be the best they can be by reading with them as often as you can. If you have read with your child, please make a note in their reading record.
You will receive communications about your child's learning on Tapestry, please feel free to add your own observations as we love to see what they are learning at home too!
