Olympic Athlete Visit
On the 18th June, the school will be visited by swimmer Jo Jackson, who is also an Olympic medallist. We are working with a charity called ‘Sports for Schools’, which provides fundraising opportunities, as well as allowing children to meet a sporting athlete. Your child should have brought home their sponsor form and we would love you to gain as many sponsors as possible. The children will, on the 18th June, be undertaking different sports with Jo Jackson and this day promises to be a wonderful event that will certainly be remembered for a very long time. All money gained from sponsors should be back within school 1 week (in a marked envelope) after the event has taken place and the money raised will then be split between the charity and the school (the school money will be used to buy new resources).
