School is Open!

Dear All Parents,

Having spoken to the Fire Team and Environmental Health dealing with the emergency at the recycle plant in Ancaster, they have assured the school that the children are safe to walk to, and be in school. We will keep all windows and doors closed and the children will not be out at breaktimes. They have assured us that there is no reason why children should be absent from school today as there is no risk to public safety with the school being open. For this reason, we expect all children to be in school today. Any parents who take the decision to not send their children in to school on the basis of this fire, the absence will be recorded as unauthorised.
