Anti Bullying Week

The week commencing the 16th November is Anti Bullying Week and we will be holding discussions around this very important subject with the children, to refresh their understanding of what constitutes ‘bullying’ over ‘falling out’. We try to focus on the language of bullying being ongoing, deliberate and unfair. If the three elements are all working together, then we investigate an incident as an act of bullying. By making this criteria explicit, children may want to discuss this further at home. We will never tolerate bullying of any instance in school and parents can rest assured, our policies and procedures for handling incidents are regularly scrutinised and updated.
