Optional Collection from 1pm-19th July 2022

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have been keeping an eye on the temperatures and the way our classrooms are responding to today’s heat. Today feels different to yesterday and we have now already exceeded the highest temperature that we saw yesterday during school time. As a result, we have decided to offer you the opportunity, should you wish, to collect your child this afternoon so that they can be more comfortable in their own home.

We are not closing the school and will remain open as usual for anyone that needs us to. If you’re unable to collect your child, please do not worry-we will do everything we can to help them manage and keep safe with usual collection expected at 3.30pm.

All children will have had lunch today in school as usual.

If you would like to collect-then we ask that you come to the main gates between 1pm and 1.15pm and we will direct you to collect from your usual spaces. If you need to arrive after this time, please come to the main reception. You do not need to let us know if you are coming to collect-please just either arrive at the designated time or afterwards to the main office and we will manage the collection for you.
